I remember how nervous I was to meet her, but with every decision I make, it's with prayer first, then with God's blessings. I often go back to the teachings of my biological mortal father. How spiritual this man was. How he was a soldier of God while serving an Army for mortals seeking power, justice and domination. Some of his words still reside in sections of my mind on how to present yourself to a woman.
Call on her, if you are truly interested and she is the one that fills your void, pursue her and work harder than you ever worked for anything. I hear this chants as I await my companion. "Always be punctual" dad says, so I was minutes early. "Presentation and confidence is key", "a man should look like his day at the gates before meeting God". I was dressed for meeting as if I was dressed for a interview, though this was second meeting, consistency is important, being yourself is original. "Always come equipped with the proper tools" This song of gentlemen rang out like the Catholic Church bells at 12 noon. Mints or gum for illumination of fresh breath during verbal exchange.(have some to offer) Flowers in the colors to symbolize friendship. (there is a color code in floral arrangements) A note or card she can read before or after your cordial session. Pick and plan a rendezvous that meets her specifications meeting yours as well. Keep travel points at least half way for the both of you but surely less for her. In this modern time, electronic devices get in the way of focus and being attentive, if possible, place on silent, standby or off.
Playing back years of what I learned in a matter of seconds, my nervousness came to a calm when a glow of light went pass the window. I can smell the positive vibes of her smile. She radiated natural essentials before entering the door. Of course, I rush to the door to let her in. Greeted her with a smile and allowed her to decided on proper exchange in greeting. She leaned in for a hug and while I was receiving her gesture, my whole body went from nervous and excited to calm and welcoming. Our smiles were endless, but hers laminated when I presented her with 12 yellow stem roses and a greetings card. Table by the window was prepared and our loud smiles continue to raise volumes when I showed her and help her into her seat. Vegan, is what I chose as selection of festive foods for lunch. I was feeling healthy long before the food arrived because of this nourishing creation God delivered to me. Hours sped through like minutes, partial food was consume, but our consumption of each others company kept us slightly full but still hungry and thirsty for more interactions.
Unfortunately, our meters of time expired and we too, had to be about our normal routines and responsibilities. I helped out of her chair, helped her put her coat on and walked her to car. I recall something my mother said to me, "Walk with a woman being on the inside of the sidewalk and not the outside near the curb", she said, "If you want a woman to walk with, inside the side walk is where she should be and out of respect and protection. Near side the curve, is advertising her as a street walker or a shield if a car runs up the curb she gets hit first". Approaching she unlocks her door and proceed to open her door as I always do but not before we giving each other a long and what felt like a over due hug for two hearts happy to meet. Once we let go our embrace, our hands stayed locked, smiles danced on smiles and eyes barely blinked. Leaving was the hardest moment right then, but it wasn't the last meeting. I held one hand as I help her into the car and then slowly closed her door. I leaned in kissed her cheek as she slowly said good bye and drove off. Like a parent sending their kids off to College, I stood there until the silver paint and red tail lights were no longer in my vision.
I proceeded back to my car smiling on both side of the block. My trance of happiness made walk across traffic with red lights and wave to blowing horns with happiness. I couldn't help it, I took out my cell phone and sent a message. No immediate response until I got to my moms 9 minutes later with a incoming text saying "I MISS YOU TOO".....to be continue.......
